| Liliana
Oliveri was born in London, UK, in an Italian family.
She started her musical and drama studies at a very
early age. After her diploma in piano and in singing
she was accepted at the age of eighteen at the Royal
Northern College of Music. At twenty, she won a scholarship
from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to study
in Italy and moved to Milan. She obtained her diploma
in opera singing at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi
in Milan.
After winning two important singing competitions,
she made her debut in 1988 and since then has sung
as a soloist in the operatic theatres of Bergamo,
Brescia, Cagliari, Cremona, Alessandria and Torino
and with the orchestras: l’Orchestra De I Pomeriggi
Musicali di Milano, l’Orchestra Milano Classica,
l’Orchestra Regionale Toscana, L’Unione
Musicale di Torino, Antidogma Musica and Sentieri
Selvaggi. She has an extensive repertoire that embraces
the major composers from Bach to Maderna and that
ranges from Belcanto to Sprechgesang.
She has been protagonist of numerous world premieres
and has sung in prestigious festivals such as the
Berliner Festwochen in a co-production with the Compagnia
di Marionette Carlo Colla e Figli of Borodin’s
“Prince Igor”.

has recorded the first editions of SATYRICON by B.
Maderna and LIVIETTA E TRACOLLO di G.B. Pergolesi.
In recent years she has started composing
music and writing lyrics. “My Love for You”
is her first CD of sacred music dedicated to the Lord..
She co-operated with Paolo Conte in his project “Razzmataz”
both as an actress and as assistant director of dubbing.
She was the vocal coach and musical director of the
Italian musicals “Ailoviu” and “Rosa
Salmone” (directed by Vito Molinari) and of
“Boum, Je chante Trenet” (directed by
Filippo Crivelli).
She works as an English vocal artist and speaker/dubber
and has recorded numerous TV ads, documentaries, cartoons
etc.
She co-operates with TBNE and dubs into Italian all
the female roles in programmes such as “Today
with Marilyn Hickey”, “This is Your Day”,
“The Joy of Music”, “Dino”,
“Kid’s Club” etc. She sings regularly
in the Italian version of “Telethon”.
Since 1989, she is the vocal coach at the “Accademia
dei Filodrammatici di Milano”, one of most prestigious
drama schools in Italy.
